The two-day Organisation and Relationship Systems Coaching Fundamentals course explores a ground breaking model for coaching teams in organisations, partners, couples and communities. Whether your practice area is personal coaching, consulting, business coaching or leadership (in business, the public sector or community development), the ORSC model will change the way you work.

You will leave this course with a powerful framework and a wide-ranging set of practical skills and tools you can use the very next day. The course also constitutes the first module in a complete ICF Accredited Coach Training Pogramme (ACTP) and is a pre-requisite for the Advanced Series of ORSC courses.

Relationship Systems Intelligence

You will be introduced to a cutting edge coaching model based on Systems Theory, Process Work, Family Systems Therapy, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Quantum Physics, Co-Active Coaching™ and Taoism.

At its core is an evolution of the principles of Emotional Intelligence (relationship with oneself), and Social Intelligence (relationship with other) to Relationship Systems Intelligence, where the focus is on the collective wisdom of the group, team or system.

ICF Accredited

ORSC Fundamentals is the first course in an ICF Accredited Coach Training programme. ORSC is the first ICF accredited relationship systems-based training for coaches, consultants and therapists.

Before the course

Pre-course coaching session Provided you book at least 3 weeks in advance, your course package includes a free pre-course personal coaching session to explore key partnerships, teams and systems in your world, your current strengths and identify your personal priority learning areas for the workshop.

Workshop summary


World class experience for ZAR8,750 excluding VAT. Course fee includes two integrated follow up group application sessions on building your practice and applying your learning in the real world. Discounts up to 20% if you book and pay six weeks in advance.

At least 40 hours of coach-specific training through an ICF-accredited coach training program and/or at least a year's experience in practical coaching, or qualified psychologist
Facilitators and HR professionals Experience in training, facilitation, consulting or coaching skills (includes HR or OD Professionals, Mediators, Consultants)

Leaders of teams or organisations

Practical leadership and management experience, and a passion for team alignment and development are required. Prior leadership training helps participants make the most of this course.

After the course: anchoring learning and applying it in the real world

Post-course mentor sessions

Your course package includes two free group mentoring sessions after the workshop, supporting participants in applying the skills learned on the course and exploring practical business challenges arising.

Completing ORSC Fundamentals also qualifies you for entrance into the advanced ORSC Series

Practice 5 Key ORSC Tools

Receive hands-on training in the use of a relationship systems approach to coaching and therapy in a variety of applications through a combination of scenarios and live material.

Coaching the Third Entity™. Each group, team or partnership is more than just a collection of individuals. The combined experiences, intelligences and energy form a unique and separate entity that is more than the sum of its parts. Coaching the Third Entity as your client, instead of each individual in the engagement increases your power and influence while enabling you to tap into the inherent wisdom of the team.

Designed Team Alliances. Think of these as the “rules of the road,” that the person, team or organisation whom you’re coaching establishes among themselves with your guidance. This builds co-responsibility for the outcomes and determines how the team (or individual) addresses challenges.

Alignment Skills. What you perceive to be the client’s opportunities for growth and what the client perceives to be his/her/their challenges aren’t always in sync. Learn how to establish boundaries and limitations for your engagements while focusing on the common interests of your clients.

Constellating the System. Humans in a relationship system gravitate to particular roles, guided by their own predilections and the demands of the situation. Through an exercise called Deep Democracy, you will practice constellating the system, which reveals the roles and positions each team member holds, garnering deeper insights that can direct future growth.

Crafting a Relationship Myth. There is an archetypal nature to relationships. In this course you will learn how to craft a narrative with your client that resonates deeply and plots a course for change.
